Festival
- Saturday, September 7th, there are MANY festival show volunteer opportunities from first aid or concessions, to taking tickets or helping with parking or security. All families are expected to volunteer for our largest fundraiser. Contact our Festival Chair leads, Dave and Bridget Holmen, to find out how you can help and sign-up!

Season
- We have MANY season long volunteer opportunities from selling apparel or chaperoning on trips to building props or assisting with the year end banquet. Please see below or contact us to see how you can help during the marching band season!

Festival Show Committees

Volunteer for our annual Festival Show in September at Eastview High School! Each Festival Committee plans and organizes their group responsibilities and is led by two experienced members. Committee leads meet regularly as a group leading up to the Festival. Current leads

will work with a pair of existing members to shadow and transition into lead roles for future years. Please sign up below to volunteer!

FESTIVAL COMMITTEE CO-CHAIRS

Coordinate Festival Show and Volunteer Check-In station during the event, lead committee meetings from Jul-Sep, send parent communications and maintain online volunteer resources.

FESTIVAL BAND HOSTS

Host a visiting band during the Festival, provide information and lead the band to and from the stadium.

FESTIVAL CONCESSIONS

Volunteer in our concessions booth preparing, serving or cashiering during the Festival!

FESTIVAL FIRST-AID

Volunteer at our First Aid station during the Festival. Professional training desired.

FESTIVAL JUDGE'S BOOTH

Volunteer in the stadium press box supporting the competition's judges.

FESTIVAL PARKING

Join our parking crew directing traffic, parking and visiting bands!

FESTIVAL SECURITY

Join our security team guiding traffic flow at entrance gates, school entrances, and ticketing.

FESTIVAL TICKETS

Volunteer with ticketing at the entrance gate during the Festival.

FESTIVAL CRITIQUE DINNER

Join our evening critique dinner team feeding the visiting band directors and their teams after the Festival Show.

Season Volunteer Needs

CONCESSION DONATIONS

Help stock the concession stand to feed hundreds of band members, parents, and spectators for our main fundraiser!

FIELD CREW

Travel with the band to competitions and assist with loading and unloading the trailers, pushing props and equipment on and off of the field. This also includes assisting with home halftime football shows. Sign Up!

PROP CREW

Assist with designing, building, painting and maintaining of the show props. Sign Up!

PHOTOGRAPHY

Photograph marching band events and post on the EV Facebook Band Community page. Volunteering does not grant access to the field.

SEWING

Assist with sewing for uniforms. Sign Up!

FESTIVAL COMPETITION

The Eastview Marching Band hosted marching band competition. Sign Up!

FUNDRAISING

Plan monthly fundraisers (that require little if any volunteers such as restaurant nights). Sign Up!

COMMUNICATIONS

Write public announcements on competitions and submit to local paper and Eastview online announcements. Sign Up!

CHAPERONES

Men and women supervise the band overnight for out-of-town competitions and off-site band camp. Sign Up!

SPIRIT WEAR

Coordinate the sale of Marching Band apparel and spirit items from selection to SPIRIT distribution. Sign Up!

SENIOR BANNERS

Coordinate details of senior banners from design to hang-up. Oversee storage during season and distribute to seniors the night of the Year End Banquet. Sign Up!
